Spooooooooky!!!! Scrapbooking in Melbourne, Florida

Are you almost ready for all the ghouls, ghosts and goblins that show up on your doorstep this time of year?   It's almost time!

I was gonna try to get a better photo of this....but I think it looks a little eerie with the lighting this way......mwaaaahhh ha haaa!!!!!!  I have just about worn out my Artful Inkables "Halloween Hauntings" stamp set.  But I realized I had not used this punky-black-kitty-propped-up-on-skeleton-heads stamp yet......so here you go!

CTMH's textured cardstock actually has a lighter shade on the reverse, so I used one black sheet to make this card - the gray cardstock is the backside.  I ran a piece of it (black side up) through my Cuttlebug with this cute Halloween folder (I think I got it on sale last year for $1.99).  I used my sanding block to sand the heck out of it, which really brings out the images!

I cut a spiky gray mat, just 'cause I thought it would look spooky, and added a little bat.  Then the fun part.....I tried to shape the sentiment to look like the top of a tombstone.  I bought ONE....just ONE....bottle of Smooch....you know, the stuff that looks like a nail polish bottle, but comes out lookin' like CTMH's Pearl Paint.  The bottle I purchased was "Cherry Chocolate" (hel-LO!!)  It was just what I needed!

Sorta looks like dripping blood, doesn't it?  MWAHHH-HA-HAAAAA!!!!

Good grief.  I need to get a grip ;-)

Smiles,

Deb
