You leave an impression on me Scrapbooking in Melbourne, Florida

Just a quick comment and a card from me. This is for the Verve challenge using vellum! Now, I had to go back and look up the word for 'vellum' because my mind is shot. I woke today with weird waves coming over me and tingling both arms every ten minutes. I went to work 'cause I work at a healthcare facility - ha!

After four bites of yogurt and the realization I was not getting better, I wandered into Karen's office. She took over my job as Risk Manager about seven years ago, but she is a nurse and I don't have a clinical bone in my body. She took me over to get my blood pressure checked and Dr. Thomas determined I was having an allergic reaction to a medication he gave me last Wednesday. I am pretty healthy (in spite of being grossly overweigt) and don't take a lot of medication. Medication allergies run in the family, so I shouldn't be surprised. So she dropped me off at home around 10:00 and I slept until 6:00 p.m.!!!! I can't believe I slept the day away. I hate that! But I no longer have those symptoms. Am sleepy, though, believe it or not!

I don't recall using vellum on a card, although I had purchased it and was ready to go! I embossed it with the Cuttlebug Script embossing folder, then rubbed Cocoa ink over the letters. Used CTMH's Journaling Spots for the card (see, that might be the wrong name - my brain is not functioning!) and a couple of little baby pink conchos - aren't they cute?

Well, it's 8:24 p.m. and Alan is asleep. Believe it or not, I may go back to sleep despite sleeping all day. Good Lord. I hope I am up to posting more tomorrow. Thank goodness I took the time to create last night! Tee hee.

Thanks for enduring my musings, wanderings and probably typos - too 'out of it' to check.

Back tomorrow!
