Nothin' but Blue Skies! CTMH Scrapbooking in Melbourne, Florida

Happy 5th of July!  Did you have a nice holiday weekend?  Was it a blast?  tee hee.....ha!  blast!!!  I woke up early Saturday (set the alarm clock!), came into the family room....and there was my BABY sleeping on the sofa!  Yep, Alan came home around 4:30 in the morning.  woohoooo!!!!  He wasn't sure whether or not he would make it, and I was hoping he would, but it was still a surprise.  We spent much of Saturday with Grammy, watching soccer.  Then yesterday we watched a bunch of tv shows that I had saved for us to watch together - Deadliest Catch and Whale Wars.  It rained all day anyway, so it worked out great!

So here's my June HAS (Humble Artists' Group card).  If the ink in the thumbnail looks shiny, it's because it is!  I wet embossed all of the stamped images with clear detail embossing powder.

This is a great stamp set with all of its cute little rainbow elements, clouds and sentiments.  All of the products are Close To My Heart.

I'm cutting this short as I need to pack for convention!  Yes, I'm off to DC tomorrow to CTMH's annual consultant convention.  The last one was in Orlando, so it was easy for us to attend.

We will spend most of the time in the hotel, but it's the new Gaylord, so I think I will make that sacrifice!  I hope to come back with fun new goodies to share with you.

I'll have some Spellbinders lusciousness to share with you soon.  In the meantime, check out our new Designer artwork in the Spellbinders gallery.

Thanks for stopping by!

I love your card and need that stamp set cuz it's so darned cute. Great idea to emboss the images.

I need to read more carefully. Instead of "my baby," I read "a baby." Then you mentioned Alan, so I thought it was HIS baby. Sheesh!! Regardless, I'm glad to hear you had a fun weekend despite the rain. Enjoy DC!!

Cute card. I haven't played with that set or that paper much yet. Love what you did with it. Boo Hoo, I wish I was going to convention this year. Say hi to DC for me. Haven't been since 1998, I think.
