Michele's challenge this week on the Artful Inkables blog is to make a card or project based on your new year's resolutionl
For example.....if your resolution is to lose weight, use a thin element on your card or reduce the layers and embellishments. If your resolution is to organize your craft room, make a card from the things that are out (and put them away when you are done - ha!).
Here's mine:
I still had some scraps of the red patterned paper from my "Evensong" Christmas paper laying on my table (along with about a million other things, but we won't go into that - ha!) I stamped my favorite little birdie from "A Bird's Song" on the monochromatic side of the paper and cut him out. I stamped the image again on a scrap of Desert Sand cardstock that was nearby, layered it on half of a piece of paper from some mat stack that I just HAD to have, put that on another red scrap, I used a leftover of White Daisy cardstock to make the card base (would have preferred Colonial White, but this was the scrap on my desk!) and tied it together with a photo corner (this was not on my desk) and a scrap - yep! - of twill.
You still have time to play along!
