Not every card is a winner!!!! CTMH Scrapbooking in Melbourne, Florida

Greetings! No, I am not dead. tee hee. But Alan and I have been sick ever since I came home from Long Beach. I attribute it to the croopy elderly lady in the wheelchair who was sitting at the gate coughing up a lung. The other passengers were giving each other scary glances (including me). Sure enough, I have the worst sore throat and crappy heat....well, you know what I mean. And my poor baby does not feel well, either. Even Target (kitty kitty) is sneezing! Good grief.

Well, here is one of the three cards that I submitted for the card contest at Leadership. We had to use the same pattern ('Top Band' from Wishes) for all three cards. I wish you could see the cards that were selected for the top five. They were incredible!!! Some of them were the most creative, cute cards I had ever seen. And I have seen a lot of cards on the www!

I will save you from my nonsensical ramblings since my brain and fingers are not in sync.

Cheers,

Hey, sorry you aren't feeling well. Great job on the conference call last night. I really learned so much and I am very excited about Studio J. I took lots of notes. I like what you said about innovate, not imitate. I am glad Jeanette is innovative so we can imitate her though. I forgot to ask last night and maybe I'll post on LL. What do you carry your pad of paper in? I can't remember what it is called but the place mat like thingys. You said the new rolling carryall is shorter than the old one and the old one is too short for the papers.
That cardinal is beautiful, sorry you didn't win. your card is great.

Winner or not, your card is beautiful! Glad to hear you're still among the living, too! AND you've still got your great sense of humor to boot. Get well soon, so your cyber pals can enjoy you in full force!!! I've missed you!

Deb...sorry to hear that you are sick. My dad used to say that it was the airlines recycled air that made him sick because he would be sick everytime he got off an airplane. I love the card and congrats on all your successes. Get well soon...we miss you. Iona
